Protect Yourself from Scam Texts or Phone Calls

Scam calls, texts, emails, and fake websites are common. They may look like they come from Imperial, Medicare, or your doctor.

Imperial will never ask for personal or financial information through a surprise text. When in doubt, do not click. Call us first. Use the Member Services number on your ID card.

  • Do not reply with your member ID, Social Security number, password, or bank information.
  • Do not call a phone number that came in the same unexpected message.
  • If you are unsure, hang up or delete the message. Then call the number on your ID card.

The safest way to check a message is not to use anything in the surprise call, text, or email. Contact Member Services* yourself using a number or website you already trust.
