AEP 2027 certification is open — get Ready to Sell
Complete your CMS-approved core training, then Imperial's plan-specific product and compliance modules, to hold Ready-to-Sell status before AEP.
Certification for the 2027 Annual Election Period is open. Every broker selling Imperial Medicare Advantage plans must hold Ready-to-Sell status before submitting any 2027 enrollment — no exceptions. Certification has two parts: a CMS-approved core training course, followed by Imperial's own plan-specific product and compliance modules.
Step 1 — Choose one core course
CMS requires all agents to complete an approved core Medicare training before selling any Medicare Advantage or Part D plan. Imperial has negotiated reduced rates with both major providers — choose whichever you're already using or most comfortable with:
- AHIP Medicare Training — reduced rate of $125 through Imperial's link: ahipmedicaretraining.com/clients/imperialhealthplan
- NABIP Medicare Certification — $100 through Imperial's link: nabiptraining.org/nabip/medicare/JRGVAB
Step 2 — Imperial's product and compliance modules
Once your core training is complete, log in to the Agent Portal to complete Imperial's plan-specific product training and compliance modules. These cover what's new across Imperial's plans for 2027, along with the marketing and compliance requirements specific to selling Imperial products.
Ready-to-Sell status
You'll receive Ready-to-Sell confirmation once both steps are complete and your results have been processed. Certification typically takes a few business days to reflect in the Agent Portal after you finish Imperial's modules, so don't wait until the last minute — especially with AEP submission volume ramping up in October.
