Quality Program
Our Health Plan's Quality Program is designed to monitor and improve the care and services our members receive. We work hard to make sure your care is high-quality, safe, and focused on you.
What We Look At
Our program focuses on many different areas, including:
- The medical care you receive from doctors.
- Our member services and customer support.
- How easy it is to get an appointment.
- Patient safety and your overall health results.
We look at these areas all year long to find ways to serve you better.
Our Goals
The main goals of our program are to:
- Help you stay healthy and get the right care.
- Make your experience with us better.
- Remove barriers that keep you from getting the care you need.
- Continue to improve our health plan.
We track our progress by comparing ourselves to standard health industry goals and benchmarks.
Measuring Success
We use member feedback, clinical data, and health results to see how well we are doing. This information allows us see what we do well and where we need to improve.
We also use two official grading systems to track our quality:
- HEDIS® Data: This is a standard set of health measures used to track the quality of your care, spot gaps in services, and see how your health outcomes improve over time.
- Medicare Star Ratings: For our Medicare members, we track these ratings each year to find new ways to improve our services and support your health.
Questions about the quality of your care?
Member Services can answer questions about our Quality Improvement Program. If you have a concern about the quality of care you received, you can also file a grievance.
