How to Get Contracted
To sell Imperial Health Plan Medicare Advantage products, complete the following steps:
- Hold an active state insurance license
You must be licensed in California to sell Medicare Advantage products with Imperial Health Plan of California, Inc.
- Complete AHIP Medicare Training
Imperial Health Plan agents receive a $50 discount on AHIP certification. Click here to access the discounted rate.
- Complete annual certification in the Agent Portal
Log in to the Agent Portal to complete product-specific training and certification required each plan year.

Agent-Assisted Telephonic Enrollment
If a prospective member prefers not to meet face-to-face, Imperial offers agent-assisted telephonic enrollment. The referring agent remains the agent of record and receives all applicable commissions.
- Agent provides Imperial with the lead's name and phone number.
- The lead calls 1-800-838-5914 and enrolls by phone. The agent may remain on the line.
- Imperial confirms enrollment via the agent lead log and processes commissions accordingly.
